Open Day at the Department of Measurement, FEE

On Friday, November 15, Open Day was held at FEE. The Department of Measurement has opened its four laboratories: Laboratory of Sensors and Measurements, Laboratory of Subjective Testing, Laboratory of Aeronautical Instrumentation and Flight Arena. Visitors could explore laboratories and ask for information about courses to find out more about the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes the Department of Measurement provides together with FEE.

In each laboratory, a number of interesting experiments were prepared. For example, attenders could test robots from LEGO bricks which were built within the course "Robots" or see the individual projects realized within the course "Laboratories of Industrial Electronics and Sensors" (B3B38LPE).  Participants of Open Day could try shooting simulator too. Different development kits designed to support the teaching of microprocessor technology, as well as the F0-Lab and LEO platforms used in the laboratory teaching of the subject B3B38LPE, were also presented. In the laboratory of aircraft instrumentation systems, visitors could see and try the electronic systems used on aircraft boards. At last, visitors could try to fly with small drones in the Flight Arena.
